9 p.m.: Dinah Thorpe with DJ Motlette plays a special Pride Week Kick Off at TheCompanyHouse. Dinah is excited to be returning to Halifax during Pride after her debut during the In the Dead of Winter Music Festival opening for Buck 65 in late January. Dinah burst onto the Toronto music scene in May 2008 with the release of her self titled debut EP. Since then, her beats have induced fevers in dance clubs, while her silvery voice and sweet melodies have brought tears to folk clubs. Then finish the evening off with some dancing with DJ Motlette. $8 at the door.
