Nova Scotia LGBTQ Health Research Conference - Day 1 at New Academic Building (2nd floor) at the University of King's College, Halifax
Theme: The Importance of Patient Engagement and Collaboration in Improving LGBTQ Health in Nova Scotia
This conference will feature: a keynote address by Anna Travers, Executive Director of Rainbow Health Ontario, panel presentations, facilitated discussion groups, and a safe space lounge for LGBTQ participants.
The goal of this conference is to foster sustainable collaboration among stakeholders to set priorities for future research on improving patient-oriented LGBTQ health care in Nova Scotia and to work together to produce and implement solutions to advance LGBTQ pathways to primary health.
This conference is open to LGBTQ community members, health researchers, health care providers, policy makers, community organizations and other stakeholders. There is no registration fee and space is limited so we encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible.
