The Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity (CCGSD) will be hosting a talk about Intersectionality within the LGBT2Q+ community a nationally & internationally
The discussion will explore lateral violence, alternative means of conflict resolution, best practices and more.
Halifax Pride invited the CCGSD to organize this event in an effort to craft a path towards building a stronger & more diverse LGBT2Q+ Community in the region. The talk will centre on how other communities are dealing with the intersectional challenges communities across the country are facing with the evolution of Pride Festivals and Organizations.
The talk will feature Jeremy Dias (the CCGSD's executive director), however will be an interactive talk that will prioritize the local voices and experiences.
We acknowledge that this being held on the unceeded K’jipuktuk territory of Mi’kmaq peoples.
