First catch the performances of Halifax’s own choral sensations: the Women Next Door and the Halifax Gay Men’s Chorus. Then, cut a rug to oldies but goodies and dance into the evening.

Against the Mythologies of the 1969 Criminal Code Reform.
Speakers include: Dr. OmiSoore Dryden, GaryKinsman, RobinMetcalfe, Vincent Mousseau, and Karen Pearlston; who will critically examine the mythologies surrounding the 1969 Criminal Code reform. Find out more about the event online.

Atlantic Drag Star at Spatz Theatre (1855 Trollope Street)
This July 26th at The Spatz Theatre in Halifax, and hosted by last year’s Atlantic Drag Star winner, Ms Kristi Davidson, Atlantic DRAG STAR is THE opportunity for local drag queens to show their skills on a large professional stage in front of a live audience.
This year’s contestants will be vying for a grand prize $1000.
Application deadline is May 12.
