Halifax DykeAndTransMarch and Rally 2019
The DykeAndTransMarch and Rally is a political action, a demonstration that's equal parts bitter and glitter. This event is about:
* taking to the streets to demand safety, equality, and respect
* gathering to honour our past, acknowledge our present, and push towards our future
* coming together to celebrate our collective resilience, beauty, and power.
Rally will begin in the open area outside of the Halifax Central Library at 6PM with speakers. At 7PM, a group march the Mi’kmaq Native Friendship Centre.
