< This building was originally called the Church of England Institute and was built in 1888. Its architect, Henry Frederick Busch, was considered one of the eminent architects of the time. He designed this unique building which is described by historian Elizabeth Pacey as a "highly decorative Gothic composition" in the "ornate Victorian style".

Performing and visual arts space in downtown Halifax. The Khyber is a non-profit, artist-run centre located in an historic, three-storey building in downtown Halifax. The centre presents contemporary art exhibitions, artist lectures, panel discussions, performances and offers art classes to youth. The Khyber is unique among Canadian artist-run centres in its reliance on self-generated revenues.

This of course is the same building that The Turret was in.

The Turret Room is a multi-disciplinary space on the third floor made available for theatre, dance and other performance initiatives.
