A volunteer-run discussion and peer support group for people between the ages of 25 and 55 who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or any of the other identities within the larger queer community.
Share experiences, struggles, and victories at all stages of questioning, coming out, and being out, and lend a supportive ear to others as they share theirs.

In 2022, Halifax will host over 20 LGBT choirs and over 600 singers, conductors and support staff from across Canada!
The WomenNextDoor won their bid at the last Unison festival in Calgary in 2018 to bring this festival to the East Coast for the first time in its 20-year history. There is a need to build a vibrant and diverse team of people from across our 2SLGBT+ communities (and allies) to make this festival a huge success!

U=U / Undetectable = Untransmittable
If you are HIV+, on medications and maintaining a low viral load (Undetectable) then it is impossible to pass HIV on to your sexual partners (Untransmittable). A decade of research has proven U=U, however the message to the general public is very new.

Location: Scotia Pine Campground, 1911 Nova Scotia Trunk 2, Brookfield, NS B0N 1C0
Come out and enjoy a weekend of camping, Fun and make amazing new friends. We offer multiple games (ei: washer toss, flip cup, Bingo and mingle etc) and live entertainment saturday night. We have some of the East Coast most well-known Drag Queens to perform. This space is about meeting new people, having fun, gathering around the fire, and relaxing. We are dedicated to providing a safe, open space free from harassment and discrimination. In this space we want everyone to be treated with respect and dignity regardless of age, sexual orientation, and levels of ability. We do not tolerate any inappropriate gestures, negativity, and/or bullying. So come on out...of the closet and get your camp on!!
