A free volunteer-run discussion and peer support group for people between the ages of 25 and 55 who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or any of the other identities within the larger queer community.
Share experiences, struggles, and victories at all stages of questioning, coming out, and being out, and lend a supportive ear to others as they share theirs.

Halifax Pride will host two public meetings for those interested in organizing community events during the 2020 Halifax Pride Festival.
A second meeting will be held on 2020-02-24. Content for each meeting will be identical - this is to ensure as many people as possible can attend. If you are interested but unable to attend one of these meetings, please email adam@halifaxpride.com. The Executive Director is happy to meet with community members at another time or send meeting notes.

Community Centre? Open Community Meeting
In this meeting, results of a survey of 150 Halifax community members on the topic of a community centre will be detailed, next steps discussed, and questions answered. This will be followed by an open nomination process for a non-profit board of directors.
The core organizers recognize they are not the first or only group to explore the idea of a centre like this. Current community groups and members are encouraged to attend to help make this a reality.
Location: Alderney Gate Public Library, 60 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth in the Maxine Tynes room. The library is fully accessible and coffee and light snacks will be provided.

5th Annual East Coast Lesbian Campout+
Location: Scotia Pine Campground, 1911 Nova Scotia Trunk 2, Brookfield, NS B0N 1C0
Come out and enjoy a weekend of camping, Fun and make amazing new friends. We offer multiple games (ei: washer toss, flip cup, Bingo and mingle etc) and live entertainment saturday night. We have some of the East Coast most well-known Drag Queens to perform. This space is about meeting new people, having fun, gathering around the fire, and relaxing. We are dedicated to providing a safe, open space free from harassment and discrimination. In this space we want everyone to be treated with respect and dignity regardless of age, sexual orientation, and levels of ability. We do not tolerate any inappropriate gestures, negativity, and/or bullying. So come on out...of the closet and get your camp on!!
