ElderBerries April event: The Nova Scotia Seniors College
This Association was created in 2007 by retired university professors. This is a place where seniors teach seniors. Students experience the joy of learning without the pressure of exams or papers to write. Some of the current studies include: Shakespeare and old Age - A Social Cultural View of African Nova Scotia History -A Beginners Guide the Italian Renaissance

Live And Let Live 35th Anniversary Meeting
Halifax has had a 12-step Alcoholics Anonymous meeting organized by and for the LGBT community for, yes, 35 years!
If your life is messed up by alcohol or drugs, or by the use of them by a loved one, there is hope and help. Live And Let Live meets every Monday evening, same place, same time.

Location : the Penthouse, Northwood Centre, 2615 Northwood Terrace, Halifax. Wheelchair accessible.
Potluck : Please provide something you would like to share and enjoy. Potluck items may be either home-made or store-bought. Full kitchen facilities are not available, so room temperature items or finger foods are best. Please bring any serving implements your dish requires : for example, knife to cut cake, tongs for salads. Coffee and tea will be provided courtesy of Northwood.
