Administrative history
In 2003 DiannGraham spearheaded a movement to record the history of the lesbian community in Nova Scotia during the 1970s and 1980s. This was largely in response to the HalifaxPrideSouvenirHistoryMagazine which did not offer a formal history of the lesbian community. She formulated a group of women and they began to plan for an oral history workshop that would record the history of the community. They applied for funding from the Dalhousie Women’s Centre and the workshop, the 2004_LesbianMemoryKeepersWorkshop? was held at the UniversalistUnitarianChurch on Inglis Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 13, 2004.
