Trans & Two Spirit Name Change Clinic at Halifax North Memorial Public Library (2285 Gottingen St)
The decision to legally change a name or sex indicator is an important step in the gender transition of many trans and Two Spirit people. Accessing the services needed to make this happen, however, can present obstacles. In an affirming, private space, 2SLGBTQIA+ participants can find help with any stage of this process. Specially trained hosts will provide information and assist with filling in the applications. Volunteers with Dalhousie Legal Aid will be available to witness signatures at no cost.

đź§— Queer Climbs @ Seven Bays Bouldering (114 Chain Lake Drive)
An event promoting accessible, safe and inclusive spaces for the queer (2SLGBTQIA+) climbing community. There will be discounted day passes + free shoe rentals as well as deals on drinks (after climbing of course).This event is for everyone, from first time climbers to experienced members, come climb with Queer Climbs HFX. There will also be two free yoga classes hosted by teacher Saphrin. There will be a sign up sheet at the front desk and spots will be reserved first come first serve.

Gender Reveal Party Halifax at J. D. Shatford Memorial Public Library (10353 St. Margarets Bay Rd, Hubbards)
Artist and Innovator in Residence S. Bear Bergman is hosting Gender Reveal Party Halifax at Halifax Public Library branches across the area.
Gender Reveal Party is a performance that seeks to blur the boundaries between “us” and “them” around the topics of gender. We use the oldest method known to people—eating together in celebration. The Library party will feature local trans, genderqueer, nonbinary, agender, two-spirit, or otherwise gender non-compliant folks sharing gendered related revelations.
ASL Interpretation will be provided.
