Join QueerSpiritChurch for a special service observing Transgender Day of Remembrance — a day to remember trans people (particularly transfeminine people of the global majority) who have been lost to hate crimes and other forms of violence. Part contemplation, part education, this service aims to open the eyes and touch the hearts of all. "Perhaps this is also Christ." 🏳️‍⚧️

So all are welcome.
In Person: come to St Mark's, The Hydrostone Church, at Russel & Gottingen Streets. All welcome, just walk in. There'll be someone to greet you. Prevailing COVID precautions will be in place.

Transgender Day of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil at Peace & Friendship Park (corner of South and Barrington)
Organized by GenderAffirmingCareNovaScotia, this TDOR event will have local 2SLGBTQIA+ active its and organizers on the rising tide of violence against trans, non-binary intersex, and gender non-conforming folks. Those lost to unnecessary oppression and violence will be honoured and remembered while highlighting the importance of community and action.
Please bring masks, warm clothes, chairs (if needed), candles, and lighters.
