Thrillema presents BOUND
In their stylish, sexy 1996 debut, the Wachowskis (THE MATRIXES) created this pulp neo-noir about a heated affair between a plumber (Gina Gershon) and a femme fatale (Jennifer Tilly) that soon turns into a plot to steal from the mob. BOUND introduced the filmmakers’ violent, playful comics-inspired style with a progressivism and eroticism rarely seen in mainstream indies of the time.
Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8. Thrillema is intended for adult audiences. RSVP on Facebook.
Tickets: Free but limited to two-per-person. They can be picked up at Strange Adventures in downtown Halifax. Donations are welcomed and appreciated.
Location: Museum of Natural History, 1747 Summer Street. The museum theatre entrance is on the lower level off the parking lot and is wheelchair accessible. A reminder that the parking lot is PAID only.
