Prism: A Pride Program with YWCA
Calling out to all queer youth and allies! Join the MacPheeCentre and YWCA for a week of artistic learning opportunities that focus on collaboration, creativity, and joy!
In this program, youth will explore a mix of different performance and visual arts that celebrate the artistic diversity of queer youth. This program will also offer youth supportive and affirming community where participants feel safe, seen, and empowered. Youth in this program will be invited to select the art mediums they are interested in exploring and will help shape the direction of the program.
Registration: Due to limited spaces and high numbers, this registration does not guarantee a spot in this program. You will be contacted by MacPhee to confirm your spot in this program by June 20th. This program is open to all youth (12 years to 19 years old when program starts), however priority will be given to youth who identify as 2SLGBTQAI+.

The Big Sing: Unholy
Summer's getting underway and it's time to raise the temp...join 250 of us singing UNHOLY by SAM SMITH and KIM PETRAS at THE BASEMENT! We can't wait to belt out spicy three-part harmonies, and celebrate Pride in Halifax with this iconic modern ballad.
No musical skills required. You show up, lyrics in one hand and a drink in the other, and we do the rest. We'll start by learning the melody, and we'll work towards a final video performance by the end of the night. It'll get hot, singing is a full body sport! Co-led by Rachael Delano, Caitlin Bowers, and Jack Bennet. Sam and Kim won't be there... but let us know if you know them?!
Tickets: By donation. Doors open at 7, singing at 8.
Location: Economy Shoe Shop Basement, 1663 Argyle Street
