SafeTALK: Suicide Alertness Training for the 2SLGBTQIA+ Community
Join us for a free safeTALK workshop designed specifically for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community who want to build confidence in recognizing and responding to signs of suicide.
SafeTALK is a 4-hour suicide alertness training that teaches participants how to identify someone who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide and connect them to further support and intervention resources. Using practical, interactive learning, participants will gain skills to notice invitations for help, ask directly about suicide, and link people to life-saving support.
This training is grounded in inclusivity, community care, and affirming approaches that recognize the unique experiences and mental health challenges faced within 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
