Morgan joined the Halifax Pride Board in 2015 and became Chair in 2016 during a challenging period. During his time with Halifax Pride, Morgan oversaw significant change at the festival and Society. Under his leadership, the Society moved in a new strategic direction, focusing on creating safer spaces, prioritizing the voices of QTBIPOC folks, and being more responsive to community needs. Morgan was passionate about advancing these priorities and took a hands-on approach to this work. He was also committed to building the capacity of the Society to best serve our 2SLGBTQ+ community

Resigns as chair. Morgan is moving on to focus his energies on other projects, including his role with the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia and advancing equity within the legal profession. 1
