Mount Pride Centre
For LGBTQ students at MountSaintVincentUniversity. Located in the Diversity Centre in Rosaria 213, the Mount Pride Centre aims to provide a safe, supportive place for the LGBTQ students & allies at MSVU, as well as facilitate social events.
As of 2026, the Mount Pride Centre is alive and bustling with activity! The space offers an inclusive, accommodating and friendly environment for students to socialize and learn alongside one another, while also hosting various 2SLGBTQIA-focused events to bring the community together on campus. The Pride Centre is always accepting new volunteers and is welcome to 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied students alike, Monday to Thursday from 10am to 5pm. - Formally known as the Queer/Straight Allance, Mount Pride is the GLBTQ group at Mount Saint Vincent University. Possible events that are being planned for the winter semester include sexuality awareness week, movies nights, potlucks, guest speakers, and many more. There are always spontaneous meals and events that are always fun.

- Skyler Anadkat begins to rebuild the MSVU Pride Centre community after it's complicated past and reputation.

- Sara Zegarra successfully brings new life to the Pride Centre, providing multicultural and international students with much-needed support and inclusion within the Pride Centre.
- September, 2025
- Ayden (October) Penney begins as the new Pride Centre Manager, having volunteered under Skyler and Sara before them. They continue their predecessors' goals of keeping the space fun, friendly and welcoming to all regardless of identity, background or cultural status. Ayden has successfully reached peak Pride Centre volunteer and attendance rates since it's steep decline in 2022.
