OnOuting

"Outing" means revealing that someone is gay, against their will or without their consent.

This system should not be used to "out" someone for several reasons. Before you create a page for someone, ask yourself, "When and where and how did this person officially come out?" Here is a short list of unacceptable answers:

• "Everyone knows he is."
• "A friend saw him at Reflections one night."
• "Honey just listen to him, you know he's a sister."
• "Do you see the way he walks? We used to have a swing like that on the front porch."
• "He doesn't have a girlfriend."
