The aim of Superior Travel, Women in Motion is to provide unique and entertaining opportunities for women to participate in group travel, tours and events organized especially for them by Women who understand the solace of women interacting with each other.
This year’s marketing efforts will be centered on creating awareness for Superior Travel Women in Motion. To that end, WIM arranged to have three dances at the Holiday Inn in Halifax in 2007: May 26, Sept. 28 and a New Years Eve Gala. WIM is also in the process of arranging local golf trips, schooner cruises, wine tours and, of course, “sun destinations”.
In order to realize the full potential for women centered activities, WIM is also actively working to establish cooperative ventures with other women owned or women friendly businesses. They encourage such business’s to contact them at mailto:STWomeninMotion@ns.sympatico.ca
Women in Motion evolved from a discussion while on a road trip returning from Provincetown.- in an RV. The group had such a great time meeting women from all over the country and recognized a void in the marketplace for Lesbian events. So as a result, a small group of entrepreneurial lesbian women formed a new “Travel and productions company” catering exclusively to women.
The four business partners of WIM, have a combined skills and knowledge base of 20 years in the full service travel industry, 25 years in the tourism industry, 40 years in event planning, and over 100+ years (that’s all they are going to say) of just having FUN.
