RobinMetcalfe says: Lois Schroeder Loewen designed it for GALA.  The design incorporates both the pink and black triangles, and the labyris (double-headed axe) associated with the women-centred religions of ancient Europe, notably Minoan Crete. Gave the Labyrinth its name.
