Disillusioned by the takeover of circuit dance events in other cities by for-profit entities, they came together with six like-minded friends to establish a 100% volunteer-driven non-profit to ensure that earnings return to the community – and Nauticus was born. : Nauticus produces entertainment events in Atlantic Canada, while providing a safe space free from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, colour, age, and disability.
