Hugh Lovitt is a drag artist / male impersonator that has been performing in Halifax and the Maritime provinces since April 2007. Stunning audiences with his versatility, energy and humor, he brings a fresh approach to the local scene. Hugh's ironic and satirical style has been enjoyed by audiences across Nova Scotia and beyond. Performing at various Pride and charity functions throughout the region, he appreciates his community and strives to create a dialogue about the many issues surrounding sex and gender within the queer community. One of the winners at this years Studio X LeNoir? Community Achievement Awards, Hugh was nominated for Entertainer of the year (Male Persona), and took home Best New Drag King 2008-2009. Co-producing, marketing and managing shows are also part of this King's repertoire, and he is soon to appear on a stage near you.
