QueerAndRebelDays

Queer and Rebel Days is a week of performances, discussions, food, and workshops in Halifax. All events are free, trans and queer positive, and childcare is available upon request. Organized for and by queers and our allies, we will challenge the feelings of assimilation and consumerism that can often come from corporate pride events. It will run out of Anchor Archive from July 10 to July 16, 2009. See the schedule on the LocalEvents page for details.

Events include:

• film screening
• water-fight bike ride!
• discussion of queer activist history
• workshop on alliance-building
• zine-making
• performance night and lots of opportunities to eat!
