Rev. John Smith

April 1, 1932 - January 22, 2020

John Smith went to U.N.B. and studied Geology. He worked for the Deptartment of Natural Resources serving as Deputy Minister before his retirement in his 50s. He then went to A.S.T. and became an Anglican Priest. He served in the Halifax area for about 10 years. In retirement he assisted at All Saints Cathedral in Halifax.

In retirement he and his partner Greg Scott owned a condo near Fort Lauderdale and spent a few months there each winter forming friendships there. He is survived by two sons, Andrew in Halifax and another in Alberta.
