Towards an Understanding Of Transgenderism

Safe Harbour Metropolitan Community Church in Halifax is inviting the public to a Workshop about transgenderism, intended to inform and dispel common myths and misconceptions. Learn the basics and background on being transgender in this society, and gender etiquette, too.

The Facilitator for this event is EricMacDonald. Eric is a 34-year-old human rights activist, author, educator, small business owner and single parent. Active in the field of advocating human rights causes for over twenty years in Nova Scotia, he is currently working to seek equality for members of Nova Scotia's Rainbow Community, working on several projects with the Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project (NSRAP). Eric is Chair of NSRAP's Transgender Action Committee as well as serving as Vice-Chair of NsRap.

The Workshop was held on Saturday, November 20, 2004, 1-4 p.m., at SafeHarbourChurch, BloomfieldCentre, 2786 Agricola St., Suite #108. Halifax.
