Documentary Screening: Cape Breton Queer History in Story
In honour of LGBT History Month, please join us for the first Halifax screening of Cape Breton Queer History in Story.
Directed by the late madeline yakimchuck, this film is the result of a Cape Breton Youth Project initiative funded by the Diversity and Community Capacity Fund and the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage. The documentary chronicles the existence of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Cape Breton through the lives and words of community elders.
