I Felt the End Before It Came: Memoirs of a Queer Ex-Jehovah’s Witness
Daniel Allen Cox will read from and discuss his memoir-in-essays, I Felt the End Before It Came: Memoirs of a Queer Ex-Jehovah’s Witness, the culmination of years spent reckoning with memory and a complicated past, and remaking the language of indoctrination into something queer and filled with possibility.
Daniel will be in conversation with Dr. Brenda Hattie-Longmire, scholar and professor at Mount Saint Vincent University.
A Q&A session and book signing will follow the discussion, and tea and coffee will be served.

Chicago: A Drag-Along Spectacular
Get ready for some real razzle dazzle and more with "Chicago: A Drag-Along Spectacular" as a fundraiser for the AidsCoalition.
The incredible RougeFatale returns as director after an iteration of "Moulin Rouge" in March that raised over $13,000 in funds for the AIDS Coalition of NS. We will now screen the 2002 Oscar-winning film Chicago, featuring live drag numbers and unforgettable showcases during the film's musical numbers. Audience engagement will also be a key component!
Tickets are $30 for stadium seating or $400 for a reserved table of 10, plus fees and taxes. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. There will be a cash bar with Garrison on-tap, and the event is 19+.
