Dec. 1st is World AIDS Day. Look for 300 red scarves tied to the gates and fence around the Halifax Public Gardens. For the 3rd year in a row, this project of the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia aims to tie donated handmade scarves with info cards attached about HIV self-tests and U=U to make a public display of that information and to garner attention to World AIDS Day.
The scarves are there to gain visibility and educate - but also to be taken by anyone who might need one.
Featuring BOA from Rupaul’s Canada Drag Race Season 1 as the Grinch with support from local performers X, Lumen Lux, and G-Spott. There are limited Meet & Greet Tickets for Boa available.
The music starts at 10 with four different DJ sets.
