March, 2024: owners announce a new bar opening May 1, 2024.
Not to be confused with the community-owned bar Rumours, 1982-1995. "The name Rumours Cabaret was available, we love the name and think that the nostalgia associated with it will be great for the business."
Several people who used personal wheeled vehicles have visited previous businesses at this location and have said it's accessible.
As of June 6, 2024, Halifax's only gay bar.
