Queer & Allied Home Buying Session
Join us for an exciting evening, as Fusion Halifax presents “Home Buyer Session” at the Central Library. The session brings together queer and allied members of the NS Real Estate community, such as a Realtor, Mortgage Broker, Lawyer, and Home Inspector. Learn about finding the right home, how to finance a mortgage, ensure you have a proper inspection, and understand the legal costs of home buying.
The event is aimed at members of the queer community, celebrating young queer professionals, and is open to all allies of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Our event will create an inclusive, and safe space for everyone where you can meet queer and allied members of the NS Real Estate industry.

This show will be taking donations for Books Beyond Bars, a books-to-inmates program in Mi'kma'ki which has been providing reading materials to the east unit in the Nova Scotia Central Correctional Facility since 2009. 100% of additional funds past the cost of the venue rental and paying the performs will go to Books Beyond Bars in supporting their program.

The Laramie Project
Following the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, members of The Tectonic Theatre Project travelled to Laramie, Wyoming, to interview residents about how the attack on Matt affected the town. These are their words, the stories of real people who lived at the epicentre of one of the United States’ most heinous anti-gay hate crimes. Presented by the Dartmouth Players.
