Monét X Change with Symphony Nova Scotia
After Symphony Nova Scotia's hugely popular, ground-breaking, multi-performance collaboration with Thorgy Thor, Symphony Nova Scotia is thrilled to continue paving the way for greater 2SLGBTQIA+ representation and celebration in the orchestral world with New York drag queen, singer, and performer Monét X Change. Rising to fame after competing in the 10th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and winning season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Monét – who is known for her quick wit, powerful vocals, comedic chops, high-energy performances, and (of course) her pussycat wigs – performs music by Mozart, Bellini, and Puccini, along with hits by Dolly Parton, Nina Simone, and more.

This potent and moving drama by Nick Green, vividly captures a moment in time when a rebel Princess, alongside fearless caregivers and advocates, reshaped the course of a pandemic—and how those stricken by the virus found hard-won dignity, community and love in the face of astonishing hardship.
