QueerCreativesSpace

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
✨Pillow Fort ✨
This is a virtual program meant to celebrate the relationship disabled queer and trans folks have with their beds. Get cozy and join us online for some sharing of self care practices and restful methods of resistance. This program is inspired by Tricia Hersey's Rest is Resistance, A Manifesto. We hope that this program sparks feelings of queer futurity and imagination of what a more accessible future for us could look like, as well as more positive affiliations with rest.
This program is for queer, trans, and questioning youth ages 14-30 and preregistration is required.

This program is the fifth public program of Youth Project’s Accessibility Futurisms project funded by Accessibility Standards Canada.

There will be tea, coffee, cider, and beer available for purchase. Come grab a drink and join for chill, low level music and conversations to unwind mid-week. Come and go as you please!
The space has gender neutral bathrooms, is wheelchair accessible, and will be open only for gay hang folks. CafeByron is also queer owned so you know that coffee is good.
