From Marginalization to Visibility 2SLGBTQ+ Archives & Public Memory Conference
The conference will explore how 2SLGBTQIA+ archives contribute to a broader understanding of Canadian history. Through public events and workshops, it will also help bridge gaps between academia, activism, and communities amid increased threats to our communities. The conference will be held in person in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with options for hybrid attendance.

This spectacular event invites performers from across the region to bring their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to the stage in a night of unforgettable performances and fierce competition.
The Atlantic Pride Pageant is a celebration of talent, creativity, and community, bringing together contestants from across the region to compete for the Mx Canada Pride title in a night of high-energy performances, bold looks, and unforgettable moments.
This year’s panel of judges includes PennyCillin (2025 Pageant winner), alongside ElleNoir and Michael Hunter. Joining them as a featured guest judge, Sami Landri of Canada’s Drag Race brings national recognition and a sharp eye for excellence to the panel.
We’ll also be welcoming some other special guests throughout the evening, adding even more surprises to an already stacked lineup. Guiding the night are your hosts, VanityStation and AnnaMonaPia, delivering the perfect mix of charm, wit, and just the right amount of glamour.
