Because Atlantic Boylesque is launching into the stratosphere of fantasy for Planet Pride's most anticipated chapter yet. Return to the legendary Marquee Ballroom for an intergalactic blow-out featuring the city's most electrifying performers, mind-bending lights, and a sonic sound system that'll transport you across dimensions. Because nothing says "fantasy" like bodies, beats, and pure theatrical fire.
But the show doesn't end when the curtain drops. Oh no.
The dance party is FANTASY THEMED. Wizards grinding with warriors. Elves next to outlaws. A dancefloor where every creature, every costume, every dream gets to exist. This is the event that always sells out. This is Halifax's hottest annual party. And this is your chance to be part of the magic.
Sparks fly when Violet (Jennifer Tilly) sets eyes on Corky (Gina Gershon) in an elevator. Violet is the girlfriend of a violent gangster, Caesar (Joe Pantoliano), while Corky is fresh out of prison and doing renovations on the apartment next door. As the two women launch into a passionate love affair, they assemble an intricate plan for Violet to escape from Caesar, with two million dollars of the mob's money -- but the important part is to make it out alive.
