2026 Conference: From Marginalization to Visibility

One hundred and seventy-five academics, community historians, archivists and interested parties gathered in person in Halifax and online May 15, 2026 - May 17, 2026 for a national queer and trans history and archives conference.

During a period of escalating threats against 2SLGBTQ+ communities across the country, From Marginalization to Visibility aims to bridge the gaps between academia, activism, and community, fostering collaboration, solidarity, and public engagement.1

Building on The National Queer and Trans+ Community History Conference at MacEwan University in Edmonton on May 3-4, 2024.
