However you need regular assessments, checkups and good preventative care. Make your health a priority for you. Your health is a priority for us - thats why Capital Health and the IWK /Health Centre have been working hard to break down the barriers that some pride community members face within the health care system.

History

• 2003 : prideHealth formed under CDHA.
• In 2006, the Capital District Health Authority started a web page: http://www.cdha.nshealth.ca/programsandservices/GLBTI/index.html and started advertising with WayvesMagazine
• April 1, 2015 : all NS health authorities merged into one and this became 'central zone.'
