Halifax Unity Mosque
Halifax Unity Mosque is the 7th Unity Mosque in the family of El Tawhid Juma Circle Unity Mosques! The Unity Mosque family of Muslim congregations welcomes everyone regardless of race, class, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity or religion and is child- and youth-friendly.
Announced that it was opening in the summer of 2014! The Halifax Unity Mosque is an expansion of the Toronto Unity Mosque, also called el-Tawhid Juma Circle. The mosque is a “gender-equal, LGBTI/queer-affirming” place for Muslims to worship, according to its Facebook page.
