HowToUseApostrophes

Apostrophes are really simple, once you remember a couple tricks. (I know, I know... with all the tricks you've had, it's not easy to remember anything else!)

It's

It's = "it is". Every time you type "it's" just try "it is" instead, to make sure it's correct.

Its

What about its? If you can replace "its" with "her", then that is the correct usage. It's a funny little quirk of English.

Here it is in cartoons, by that genius, The Oatmeal: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/apostrophe

Any other tricks or easy to remember rules to suggest?
