WilliamPorquet? says: I recall as a kid in the late 1980s, it was common knowledge that Rita was shacked up with a lady named Noreen Basker -- I went to school with her daughter, Tammy. I met Rita's son Wade once after a live show at the Savoy Theatre too. Noreen is named as a "close friend" in the January, 2022 Saltwire article.12
