Wayne was born in Dartmouth. As a young boy, he developed an interest in dancing, painting, fashion, and interior design. In their early years, he and his sister Donna were often the envy of the dance floor. Wayne graduated from Dartmouth High School in the early sixties and worked as an accountant for many years with small family businesses, development companies and government departments.
Wayne won numerous awards for landscaping and design of his home. In 1994, he met his partner, Steven Yochoff. Wayne and Steven continued their joint love of gardening together.
He was passionate about Christmas, decorating, and his “all glass oin-a-ments.” Wayne was creative, spontaneous, and passionate about his family. He was a painter and many of his paintings are proudly displayed across Nova Scotia.
Wayne is survived by his loving partner Steven Yochoff.
