Agape Rainbow Bible Study / Prayer Group

Proclaiming Christ's Love, inclusion and provision to our LGBT+ community.

We welcome people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and opinions. The aim of the group is to expound Christ's Love, help and provision for his LGBTQ children. To help them build their own personal relationship with Jesus, through authentic prayer, bible study and friendship.

It's free, casual. Studying about God's Love and help for our LGBT+ community. Healing from toxic religion. Building friendship, gaining freedom.

Where: St David's Presbyterian Church, 1544 Grafton St, Halifax. It's best to enter off brunswick Street. Use the lane behind the old library and enter through the left front door. Here's a map of the streets around the church with parking hints.
When: Wednesdays in November 2019, 5pm to 6pm.

Principles of the group:

God is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent
Jesus Christ is/was God and human
Freewill is God given, to believe or not believe
Anyone will be saved who believes in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour (John 3:16 NRSV)
All christians are equal in God's eyes (Galatians 3:20 "There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male or female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus." (NRSV)
We avoid judgementalism. Matt. 7:1-2 "Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgement you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get." (NRSV)
