Three Monkeys anti-censorship demonstration at the Ralston Building.
In October, 1978, Canada Customs detained and returned a shipment of books from Diana Press in San Francisco, destined for the RedHerringBookstore. The Civil Rights Committee of GAE responded with an anti-censorship demonstration on January 30, 1979 in front of the Ralston Building which then housed the federal customs offices.
The demonstrators carried three "Three Monkeys" placards designed and built by JimMacSwain.
