Herbs for Trans Health Workshop
How can herbs offer support towards gender expansiveness and liberation? Herbs can help to address gaps in health care, connect us to feeling empowered towards our own desires of how we want to experience our own gender and overall health, help us to feel connected and embodied, and can offer powerful holistic support through gender affirming surgeries and hormone supplementation. This class is geared towards trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming folks who want to better understand the possibilities for herbal self care and community holistic care. We will discuss herbal protocols for support through gender-affirming surgeries and we will look at the possible interactions and supportive effects of herbs with hormone supplementation. We will explore how herbal medicine can be a way to reclaim community well-being for all.
Grab a drink, 2-3 friends, and your favorite way to communicate your preferences and meet us for a very fun and silly night celebrating queer culture, sex positivity, and most of all the ways in which we always find each other. We don’t recommend bringing your kids to this one! This is for your friend whose stories always start with “and then the bouncer starts knocking…”. Expect multiple choice! Rubber chickens! Kink and slut talk! And a great time amongst friends.
