QueerCreativesSpace: Compassionate Flowers
For our Queer Creatives Space session this Sunday, February 11th, we’ll be making compassionate paper flowers. This project's directive is to create paper flowers with small handwritten notes containing positive messages of compassion on their petals. This project is an excellent exercise for those trying to build self compassion or love, or looking to give a handmade gift to someone containing love notes or messages of admiration. On a technical level, this project will contain exercises of writing, drawing, and paper art. We’re hoping that this project provides an exercise that everyone can benefit from, regardless of what affiliations the month of February brings for you during this time.
This session will run from 1-3pm, and is free to attend. Like all other QCS programs, the space is intended for queer, trans, and questioning folks of all ages.
This event will be hosted at 2482 Maynard St. Kjipuktuk/ Halifax, and access notes can be found in @queercreativesspace bio on Instagram or by clicking the provided link: http://tinyurl.com/yeywxu7k
This is a masks required space, but we can provide masks.
Snacks will be provided as well as supplies to participate in the project of the session. As usual, folks are welcome to work on a personal project, so long as they bring their own materials/ the project isn’t sensory heavy and/or space demanding.
Feel free to reach out to Robin with any questions via email: wolfepress@gmail.com Or DM @queercreativesspace on Instagram
