Candlelight Vigil for Nex Benedict
Now is a time to grieve, to support each other, to mourn our losses and honor our existence. Please join us as we hold a vigil for Nex Benedict, hold space for community grief, community care, and community resistance! As our rights and our bodies are used as political tools to win votes and stir extremist rhetoric, we must create spaces for us to be unapologetically Queer, and unapologetic in both our anger and our love. Please bring your authentic self. Allies welcome.

A Weight Off Your Shoulders Part 2: Post-Op Self-Care for Top Surgery
Alexa Starratt, PT (she/her) & Shayna George, RMT (she/her) have been working with 2SLGBTQ+ clients in various stages of their transitions and have seen a need for resources related to preparation and rehabilitation for top surgery recovery. In this follow up to our pre-surgery preparation workshop, we’re here to continue to share our knowledge of bodies, breathing and movement to help with self-care for post surgery. Expect to learn breathing, movement and scar tissue massage techniques and have opportunities to ask questions and participate in discussions with community. This workshop is focused on the first 3 months post surgery in addition to providing education & tools for beyond this stage.
** Please note: in-person spots are reserved for trans and gender-nonconforming folks (and their supports). If you are looking to attend yourself as a professional or ally, please sign up for an online ticket. **
