The Discovery Centre, YouthProject, and PrideHealth are partnering up to host a Fun Day at Discovery Centre for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies! Think Discovery Centre field trip vibes with queer spin! Learn some cool health and science information, and maybe even get a special tour of areas of the centre not open to the public!
NS Public Health will be on site until 5:30 providing PCR tests, take home rapid tests, and COVID & Influenza vaccines if you are interested! Accessing this service is completely optional and will be located on the third floor in a quiet, private space.
This program takes place just after Discovery Centre closes – As there is no current public mask mandate, it is expected that you may encounter a number of unmasked folks on-site if you arrive before 4:15 PM. While we will ensure that our participants and staff do wear masks, please take this information into consideration when choosing your arrival time, based on your comfort level.
