In 2018, a volunteer-run discussion and peer support group began for people between the ages of 25 and 55 who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or any of the other identities within the larger queer community.
A discussion and peer support group for people between the ages of 25 and 55. Being, Together was started in March, 2019 by a lesbian woman in her late thirties who noticed that it was difficult to find services or community for people in her situation. The group meets monthly* at Glitter Bean Cafe to share experiences, struggles, and victories at all stages of questioning, coming out, and being out, and lend a supportive ear to others as they share theirs.
The group generally meets at the GlitterBeanCafe.
