Other community service includes work with Canadian Cancer Society, Kids Help Foundation, Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, CFB Halifax volunteer projects and various grass roots publications across the country.
Bryn ran for councillor of Dartmouth Centre, District 5 in the 2012 Halifax Municipal Elections. Though unsuccessfully he remains active in the community and the political arena. Bryn is a member of the Liberal Party of Nova Scotia and the Liberal Party of Canada. In the upcoming NS provincial election, he will work as Canvass Chair on the campaign of Liberal Joanne Bernard.
