April, 2004: TeamHalifax was an organization that is getting together a multi-sport/performance art team to go to World Out Games in Montreal in 2006, http://www.montreal2006.org/.

March, 2005: TeamHalifax apparently took permanent hiatus.

Mission Statement

Team Halifax existed to facilitate, provide and promote opportunities for lesbians, gays and their friends in all sports at all levels of ability, and to foster their physical and emotional health and well-being. They accomplished this mission primarily by providing an inter-sports resource network for athletes and sports leaders, and participating artists.
