Bedford United Church (BUC) welcomes all persons to take part in every aspect of church life including membership, leadership, celebrating life passages and marriage. Several members of the LGBT community are active members of BUC’s congregation.

Each Sunday, the BUC hold two celebrations of worship of the living God, at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. A staffed nursery and programs for children are available at both services of worship.

History

May 7, 2006

Bedford United Church held a dedication service as it became an Affirming Congregation by receiving a certificate from AffirmUnited. Rev. Robert Johnson of St. Andrews, NB was the guest speaker.12 We the people of Bedford United Church declare publicly our commitment to creating a community where all people are welcome regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, differing abilities, ethnic background or economic circumstance.
