I have been involved in a few organizations that deal with Queer issues. I am a member of AtlanticTransgender, which is a support/resource group for Transsexuals and their significant others/supporters. With ATG, I have spoken to many community groups about diversity within the queer community and have presented queer theory as it applies to myself and my life experiences to several classes at Dalhousie. I have also been involved in the International Women's Day presentations over the past years with ATG. I am an original member of BiQueerHalifax, a bisexual support group that I have run for the past 3 years. I have been involved with IsCans for the past 4 1/2 years and have held the office of Minister of Communications in year 1, year 4 and year 5.
